With its carbon frame and 1000W motor, the Nireeka Revenant 1000 caught our attention at $2,897.
But specs mean nothing until rubber hits dirt.
We took this e-MTB on our home trails—tech root sections to swooping singletrack.
Not an enduro race machine per se, but for the riders looking to squeeze some extra watts into their trail rides without breaking $6K+, there’s some very interesting potential here.
So, let’s dive in on the ride experience and see where this bike really shines, and where it doesn’t.
Our Verdict
After testing the Nireeka Revenant 1000, it gets a good score of 4/5.
For those who need a dependable ride without going into premium territory, the $2,897 price tag fits the bill perfectly.
This bike features a strong 1000W motor, excellent battery life, and a playful suspension, which helps it glide smoothly over light trails and powers up climbs like a champ.
Sure, it's not the lightest ride in the pack, and that long recharge time can feel like waiting for your buddies at the trailhead. But if you're ready to tackle the trails with style and flair, the Revenant is your ticket to adventure.

- Basic Drivetrain Components
At $2,897, the Nireeka Revenant 1000 presents itself as a solid investment for those craving performance and style. If the score was purely based on its beastly yet beautiful aesthetics, it would already be worth every penny.
But the real value lies beneath the surface—what’s inside really matters.
The Revenant is not exactly a beginners’ bike, though: $402 less than the Nireeka Mega, it provides 1,500W of motor and can go up to 60 km/h. On the other hand, it does so with an added premium. Revenant tips 3 kg lighter, though. On paper, the Mega might have the edge in raw power.
But looking at the bikes in isolation, it is hard to say which one does a significantly better job, because the batteries and range are shared. It is a case of personal preference: the extra punch the Mega can give versus the even keel and fun character of the Revenant 1000.
In terms of dependable parts, ride engagement, and style, this is an excellent buy for a great time on the trails.
Weight/Frame
The UD Prepreg Carbon Fiber frame of the Nireeka Revenant 1000 embraces its 61.7 pounds (28 kg) with an intent that lends an unparalleled stability you feel the moment your feet hit the pedals.
The geometry puts you in a confident, aggressive riding position that encourages you to lean just a little forward—perfectly suited for attacking trails without you feeling uncomfortable.
With such weight, it would hardly be described as drag. The bike eagerly responds to your inputs, leans into the turns or charges across rough paths. Deliberate design keeps your weight evenly distributed and marries comfort with control.
Battery
The 840Wh battery which powers the Nireeka Revenant 1000 is your reliable companion, enough to provide up to 50 miles (80 km) on a single charge, ideal for those epic, trail-blazing days.
We tested the limits across steep climbs and open stretches, and it didn’t falter, as if providing that extra kick just when it felt fatigue was setting in.
But heads up, if you’re going full throttle, you are draining that battery much faster.
The great part of this setup is that once your battery drops to about 20%, the top speed on throttle-only mode automatically reduces, and you get to keep moving without cutting out completely.
Just keep in mind, if you’ve pushed it to the brink, you’ll need to recharge overnight—it takes about 10.5 hours to fully juice up.
So, plan ahead if you’re itching for an early morning ride and want to be ready to hit the trails again!
Motor Performance
This is Nireeka Revenant 1000-its 1000-watt Bafang hub motor delivers 85 Nm of torque and will ride as fast as 35mph, or 56kmh.
On the smooth roads, this monster has some great fun and slides down without any jerk but in a smooth glide due to throttle. Slightly tilted, and the motor bursts to go up the little rise easily.
Things, however, changed when the gradient steepened. The throttle-only attempts on steeper hills were a bit tiring; the motor just kept pushing but didn’t quite deliver that same top speed.
Instead, some pedal power was required to keep it moving, reminding us that even the best motors appreciate a little teamwork on tougher climbs.
Display and Controls
The Nireeka Revenant 1000 features a simple, easy-to-read LCD display that throws all the necessary metrics – speed, battery level and distance – right at your fingers.
The controls are intuitive enough and user-friendly so one can easily switch power levels and access settings without a sweat.
Those looking for more advanced features have an upgrade option, but this configuration is sufficient for the day-to-day rider who just wants to ride without distraction.
ℹ️ Be cautious with your assistance use on hazardous technical sections – the bike’s heavyweight, combined with its immense power, could lead to a nasty accident if you aren’t careful or don’t have the strength to cope with it.
Suspension
It has some fantastic suspension features custom-tailored for this ride that the Nireeka Revenant 1000 delivers.
The ride’s travel configuration is through a custom aluminum air fork of 160mm and a rear shock of 140mm from Rockshox Deluxe Select. This one definitely absorbs little bumps and jostles from light to moderate trails, but not ones that make heart-wrenching leaps or extreme off-roading, it sure rides them smooth.
We experienced how well the suspension would work together, swallowing the nasty stuff and still allowing a smooth, controlled ride.
The option of locking in the suspension does exist for those who’d rather avoid the playfulness when running on flatter ground. We didn’t have any use for it. We were having too much fun.
Wheels/Tyres
The Nireeka Revenant 1000 features robust 27.5-inch wheels, fitted with Kenda Havoc tyres—2.8″ at the front and an even wider 3″ at the rear.
That is to say, this wasn’t a bike for hardcore sports; it is however fitted with a reliable set up that takes on slightly trodden trails without any fuss at all.
These tyres offer immense grip and stability, which leaves us to take on rocky paths without reservation.
The wider rear tire was a true confidence booster while we cut through turns and absorbed harsh sections. It does play so much of an important part in grip when it truly matters-most importantly, this ride will never feel bad or unresponsive.
As such, it makes up for an entertaining adventure through the tires to elevate one’s riding experience without turning it toward extreme off-roading.
Brakes system
Hydraulic disc brakes ensure the Nireeka Revenant 1000’s impressive stopping power as confidence in trail riding. That light tug on the SRAM Level brakes with the generous use of 180 mm rotors at both ends stops the bike firmly every time, no hesitation: it’s control.
Sure, if you are bombing down gnarly drop-offs, you might wish for ABS brakes to avoid careening over the handlebars. But for our adventures on slightly rugged terrain, these brakes performed flawlessly, providing the assurance needed to tackle tight corners and steep descents with ease.
It features quick access, making every ride feel secure and exhilarating because of ergonomic lever placement. This braking setup complements the performance of the bike, making you feel like you can push your limits while staying grounded.
Drivetrain
A robust Sram X5 9-speed drivetrain is provided, as standard, on the Nireeka Revenant 1000, complementing the bike’s ride very well, at such a price.
Okay, they may not be the ultimate advanced drivetrain, but it does its job properly-enough when you’re tackling grades, etc.
To push up inclines is child’s play, given sufficient hand skills, using smooth shifts to keep the momentum running.
The drivetrain is set up to work in concert with the rear hub motor, meaning it mostly takes care of pedal force, allowing chains and sprockets to last longer.
If you know what you’re doing, you’ll never be afraid to take on any climb without skipping gears.
